Collectors interact with curators, art historians, critics, other artists, media and public professionals (collectively: other professionals) transparently, responsibly and fairly, never abusing their position of power to manipulate such professionals or to gain an illegal advantage. Collectors create a positive image of collecting and advocate fair regulation of the art sector.

MAMM, Moscow, 2018

RESPECTFUL AND TRUTHFUL COMMUNICATION WITH THE PUBLIC When interacting with the media, on social networks or with any publicly available content, Collectors communicate respectfully, truthfully and transparently, creating a safe environment for everyone and never showing indulgence, promising, misleading, or dominant actions. In the context of these interactions, Collectors seek to recognize the position they speak with and what they speak. They are personally responsible for the image they portray from Collectors as a community.

RESPECT FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF MEDIA PROFESSIONALS When interacting with media professionals, including journalists and influencers, Collectors provide accurate, truthful and up-to-date information. Collectors do not give excessive hospitality to media professionals, do not give gifts, donations or any other transfer of values or benefits if they are or can be perceived as incentives aimed at influencing the independence of such media professionals. In exceptional cases, hospitality can be provided in a working context (for example, at press conferences), but only if it is aimed at allowing media professionals to freely perform their professional duties in accordance with their professional standards.

CONTRACT WITH ART PROFESSIONALS FOR SERVICES When attracting art professionals, curators, art historians, critics or other workers to provide services, including consulting services, Collectors rightly compensate them and reimburse any related costs based on the fee standards existing in this sector. Collectors transparently disclose these relationships, including their nature, content and volume. Collectors do not provide such professionals with excessive hospitality or gifts, donations or any other transfer of values or benefits if they are or may be perceived as incentives aimed at influencing the independence of such professionals.

PROPERLY MENTION OF PROFESSIONALS Collectors always mention and indicate all professionals involved in projects (for example, artists, photographers, curators, installers, sponsors, web designers, etc.), for example, in publications and catalogs.
